This seems bizarre but we have an iis site with a search that periodically runs really long but there's no activity on the database side to speak of.
From looking at the iis logs i can see that there's an ajax page in there and i wondered if that's the one that suddenly decides to go slow.
In any event, when i log onto the server with my admin the process runs fast again and stays that way for a while after i sign out of the server.
I think my question is: is this actually possible? Or is it a strange coincidence?
I don't know all that much about iis but for complicated reasons I've been asked to investigate this and I'm struggling to understand how this behaviour (which I've checked repeatedly) could be happening!
Apologies if this is nonsense.
Cheers
