I did consult Wordpress "happiness" engineers, the wordpress forum and other stack exchange posts before this. Due note that I have tried my best as a non-technical person.

The issue is that the posts that I create to appear via a wordpress page are not presented with the same page template as the pages that I created. I created a specific wordpress post template and have checked this repeatedly and it looks fine. This is what the template looks like below with the menu at the top:

The problem is that in my posts, no menu appears at the top. Here is an example:

I inserted a menu via the block at the bottom of the page but it seems unprofessional. I checked the template setting via the settings icon and it says "single post", as pictured:

However, when I click on "show template", the single-post template appears:

When I look up the page outside of the wordpress editor, it does not show this post template though. The "happiness" engineers just referred me to wordpress posts that I had already consulted. The post template seems to be fine, though I am not knowledgeable enough about coding to know if there is a glitch somewhere. If anyone has any insight into how I can ensure that my posts are displaying the single-post template, or some sort of template that matches the other pages, I would be most appreciative.
