I am having a problem reported where users with a HSBC card cannot enter their OTP code in a Stripe iFrame in Safari (desktop only). The form field is not totally dead, the autofill does momentarily appear but no numbers can be entered.

The iframe I am referring to is very similar to this one (although the issue is not actually present with the Barclaycard one):

I have tested the following combinations:

Barclaycard/Visa         All mobile and desktop browsers   OK
Monzo/Mastercard         All mobile and desktop browsers   OK
HSBC/Visa                All mobile browsers               OK
HSBC/Visa                Safari 17.x desktop browser       X
HSBC/Visa                Other desktop browsers            OK

All Stripe test cards    All mobile and desktop browsers   OK
