I have seen folks post in Reddit about the new (1 year old now) functionality of collapsing code blocks in Snowflake.. Unfortunately no one has explained how to do this to the novice user. Can someone please help with this?

this is what my worksheet looks like

  • You also need to hover on the left side for the option to be visible. "hover" or "mouseover" refers to the action of moving the mouse cursor over a specific area on the screen, such as a link, button, or image, without clicking – samhita Commented 2 days ago
  • Ah! It took some time but I see it now! Thank you! Now can I adjust what I want to be collapsed? – A Dolegowski Commented 2 days ago
  • 1 If you want to make this an answer I will select as the winning one ;-) – A Dolegowski Commented 2 days ago

Reset to default 0

Please note it is only available in Snowsight.

Note:

If you are using single line code, you would not see the collapsible option

You need to use multi-line code and hover on the left side to see the collapsible option.

"hover" or "mouseover" refers to the action of moving the mouse cursor over a specific area on the screen, such as a link, button, or image, without clicking

if you go on the code window, and click on the line numbers you will see a down arrow, you can click and collapse it .
