When I code, I don’t need any diff view. Before committing, I review all my changes using diff views only. I often end up with à confusing mix of open editor panes and diff view panes.

I wish I could switch all open editor panes to diff view (in place), and back. The number of panes should not be changed by the switch. Can it be done ?

Reset to default 0

An acceptable alternative is to show the diff of all changed files, in one pane. This is possible using, e.g., the VisualJJ extension : select "View diff...".
