In my project I want to get the media from the gerbera media server using DLNA/UPNP technology and then send it to the client via protocol buffer. Also I need to stream it to the client. If client asks the particular media using name or some meta data I need to provide it to the client from the media server.

how can I integrate the media server using jupnp library and get the services and the meta data how can I upload media and playback give me some knowledge about this if anyone have worked on this. Or I can use some other open-source library for this to integrate with the media server
