I'm messing around with WDM drivers and noticed that Microsoft has removed the FileSystem Mini-Filter. Can I use the classic WDM template linked with fltmgr.lib? Also, is it possible to install a minifilter driver without an .inf file?

I know we cant set the "altitude" with sc.exe, so if we do that manually, can we install the minifilter driver as a service with sc.exe and load it:sc start driver?
