In Uniface there are variables with dollar signs, e.g. $test$ or $name$. Are these variables global constants or do they have a special meaning in the Uniface system? I have already looked in the Uniface documentation, but could not find a clear answer. Where can these variables be used - only within the current service or also in other services?

Example:

vName = $name$

Is there a list of these special variables?
