I am creating a chart to show survey responses. Our questions can be rather long, and I am trying to come up with a good way to guide the eye into seeing the question/responses as a group.

Current attempt - link to vega editor, screenshot below:

I can think of 2 options that would be helpful:

  1. Mirroring the Bar Chart with a Space-Saving Y-Axis example
  2. Extending the grid lines to surround the Y-Axis labels

How would I incorporate Space-Saving Y-Axis in my example? I tried to incorporate the adjustments to my Y-Axis and then add in a yOffset to my Circle layer, but the spacing/padding did not get shared.
