I have here a MIB that contains NOT-ACCESSIBLE columnar objects in a table and these columnar objects are not part of the INDEX of that table.
So, of course, these column OIDs cannot be read/written/created by SNMP client (I assume these columns may only serve internal purposes). From RFC2578, I couldn't conclude whether or not such a MIB definition is allowed at all.
However, when I try to compile this MIB with my MIB compiler (MIBExplorer-light), it issues an error message:
"sequence clause of the table entry definition xXX at line NN, column xx does not match the order or number of objects registered for that table at entry xXX"
I don't understand what is the problem here. I've also already tried to get an anser in their forums (see /t/error-compiling-mib/1368/2) or ask some chatgpt, but I don't get it why NOT-ACCESSIBLE non-index columns are forbidden (though they don't make much sense, imo). Maybe someone can give me a hint?
