I'm working on a simple Rust application with a frontend built with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and I thought Tauri would be a good fit. However, I'm stuck with an error related to Sharp that prevents me from moving forward.

Here’s what I’m facing:

As you can see, I keep getting an error related to sharp@npm:0.23.4, which fails to build properly. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Deleted package-lock.json and node_modules
  • Ran npm uninstall --save sharp -g
  • Removed the dependency from my package.json
  • Tried downgrading to an older version of sharp (no success)
