I'm working with KepServerV6.
While starting up the runtime server, I got an error message, saying the file "Opc.Ua.CertificateGenerator.exe" was not present.
So, I copied that file into the KepServer runtime directory.
In order to do that, I have given "Full control" in the security settings of the KepServer runtime directory for all users of my computer.
... now I have the error message that KepServer doesn't start up anymore (as mentioned in Windows event log):
Certificate validation failure on 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Kepware\KEPServerEX 6\Opc.Ua.CertificateGenerator.exe': The data is invalid.
What can I do now?
Edit after some more investigation:
In the meantime I've removed all "OPC.UA.*" files from that directory, KepServer runtime is running but as the corresponding icon does not appear in the system tray, I can't start OPC Quick client.
